Don’t you hate being lumped into a stereotype that feels unfair, just because you fit a certain look, or age-group, or value system? ugh … we do too.

There’s lots of noise out there right now warning women against “fake clinics” that some people claim spread misinformation, use fear tactics or pressured decisions. Navigating an unplanned pregnancy can be stressful and scary enough as it is and you will definitely NOT experience any of that when you visit Gateway Women’s Care.

Contrary to what other centers, clinics or “fake clinics” do or say, we will never force or manipulate you to make one decision or another. That is yours alone to make. Our honest aim is to provide you with truthful, accurate information in a supportive environment that will help you as you consider your next steps – whether that be to have an abortion or to continue your pregnancy. Our whole team is committed to YOU…to helping YOU. That’s just who we are.

At Gateway Women’s Care, you can get the free services needed before an abortion, all at no cost to you! North Carolina law says that a woman has the right to be informed of certain facts about pregnancy and abortion that she must receive at least 72 hours prior to her abortion. Gateway Women’s Care provides you with this information free of charge.

You can also have a free ultrasound at Gateway Women’s Care – we provide limited ultrasound for qualified clients. Having a free ultrasound can determine:

  • Accurate gestational age (how far along you are).
  • What abortion procedures you are eligible for at your stage of pregnancy.
  • If there is there a measurable heartbeat – no need to pay for an abortion if the pregnancy is not viable
  • Whether the pregnancy is in the uterus (not an ectopic/tubal pregnancy – serious health risk to you).

We are committed to treating every person with respect and dignity and we hold your right to confidentiality with the utmost care and respect, complying with HIPAA privacy standards, which protect your personal and health information.

Any and all communication and information exchanged is kept strictly confidential and is not released to any agency, family member or health care provider without your express permission.*
