Think She Might Be Pregnant?
At Gateway Women’s Care, we know that a man can be just as confused or nervous about a potential pregnancy as a woman. That’s why we have guys here that you can talk to. When your partner comes to Gateway Women’s Care for an appointment, we encourage you, the father of the baby, to come in with her. You will be here not only to show support for her but to get some support for yourself. We will always treat you with respect, and we will listen carefully to your concerns and help you figure out possible solutions to the issues you are facing.
As the father of the baby, you should know:
- You have a right to state your feelings about the pregnancy but not to force those thoughts on your partner.
- She needs you! She needs you to listen, to be supportive, and to be emotionally available. Don’t close yourself off from her, keep talking together!
